about

The "Climatic Changes" project dates back to 2005, and is linked to a Lightwave concert at the Cultural Center of Limoges (France). The studio rehearsals were recorded, then edited and assembled into a continuous suite of nearly an hour, which was broadcast on a Parisian free radio and available online under the title “Mix Solenoid”.

It is this suite that we propose in this album, cut in two parts.

"Climatic Changes" is an album of ambient and atmospheric music that plays on the sequence of different climates, with new sound palettes, composing as many possible landscapes, fluid or organic, floating or rhythmic.

Lightwave was joined for this project by Pierre Chaze on electric guitar on two tracks, with additional electronics.

The concert in Limoges was accompanied by a set of video projections made by a video artist who mixed his visual materials live, in order to offer the audience an immersive experience close to the Chill out that sometimes concludes techno nights.

"Climatic Changes" is a sonic and sensory journey, like the soundtrack of a psychedelic movie.

We recommend listening to this album with headphones, closing your eyes, and letting images, shapes and spaces unfold freely.
