about

The map of the human genome is the foundation of the biological universality of our species and the brotherhood of humanity subject to the same laws and the same future, a brotherhood of blood, whatever the color of the skin, the way of life and the standard of living, culture or religion.

Carrier of great hopes of better being for the suffering humanity, of deaf threats of deviations, if science had lost its soul, the genetics is also a source of inspiration, even a model of composition for the artist.

Caryotype would like to be a musical meditation on memory, genetic, between chance and necessity, between structure and accident. The visual, tactile and choreographic use of electronic lutherie accompanied us in the sound exploration of the worlds of life, with its cycles and beats, its organic landscapes, its energy flows as well as its cellular constellations.

This journey into the depths of life has led us to evoke people close to us who are no longer with us. Parents, friends, these shadows draw a sensitive and emotional landscape, interweaving the threads of our biographies and memories.
